Childhood tooth decay or caries as is the clinical term, is the most prevelant disease amongest children ages 2-11. The only comforting factor in this revelation is that the disease is totally preventable. With the appropriate education and discipline, children can fight off this disease. Check out today's link from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry for a few tips and tricks to get your kids into the brushing and flossing habit.
